Thursday 26th September saw another exciting event in the Scottish residential property calendar as the great and the good from within the sector gathered at the Hilton Doubletree in Glasgow for the Herald’s annual Property Awards for Scotland.
We sponsored the ‘Property Team of the Year’ award again at this year’s event and were proud to represent the agency on what was a thoroughly enjoyable evening. It was a slickly run event that was well attended, with over 500 property professionals in attendance. We were treated to some good food and quality entertainment and the event compere Des Clarke also ensured that no one took proceedings too seriously, with his usual irreverent (and typically Glaswegian) take on things.
The event has always been about celebrating the best of the residential property market in Scotland and we were delighted to see some of our fantastic clients pick up awards on the night.
CALA Homes (East) won the awards for ‘Best Show Home’ for The Crescent at Donaldsons and ‘Best Regeneration Project’ for Henderson House at Marine Rise in Gullane and were awarded a commendation for The Crescent in the ‘Best Apartment’ category. Miller Homes collected the award for ‘Best Luxury Home’ for their Suffolk Row development.
The award for ‘Property Team of the Year’ (as sponsored by Space & Time) went to Clyde Gateway Urban Regeneration Company.
The Edinburgh team were joined by colleagues from London and client guests, and Keith Benzie (Associate Director) had this to say on the evening’s proceedings:
“Once again, The Herald Property Awards for Scotland was a resounding success – a stellar event and a fantastic platform to promote and celebrate a vibrant sector that is so important to Scotland’s continued economic success”
