Space and Time Media Creates Comms Role


For the first time in its seventeen-year history, media independent Space and Time Media has created an in-house marketing role. Designed to develop the agency’s offering to potential new clients, the position also has responsibility for internal communications and formalising training and development for its 84-strong team across five UK office locations.

The new position has been filled by IDM marketing evangelist Lesley Hickmott, whose experience spans consultancy, client-side work and an extensive media agency career, working with the likes of Sainsbury’s, Eden Project and GLL.

Chairman Peter Jones said “the business is growing rapidly and it’s vital to me that we do this without giving our existing clients anything less than the first-rate service they’re used to. Lesley’s role ticks both these boxes: she will be upskilling and sharing best practice across the business while shaping and narrating our offering to new clients, and making sure that the wider industry is fully aware of what a compelling offering we have here. It’s a position that matches Lesley’s considerable training, experience and skillset perfectly and I will be extremely excited to watch her flourish.”
