See Me collect Marketing Society Star AwardSite Admin
We’re delighted to announce that our client See Me picked up the thoroughly well-deserved ‘Cause Related, Charity and Not for Profit’ award at the 2016 Marketing Society Star Awards in Edinburgh last week. See Me is Scotland’s programme to tackle mental health stigma and discrimination and the award was received for the ‘Power Of Okay’ campaign which hit cinemas, radio and a variety of online platforms in the latter part of 2015.
Lisa Cohen, National Programme Manager for See Me, said “It’s a real honour to collect this award on behalf of the See Me Team, our champions, volunteers, all our supporters, funders and partners. Of course we also have to thank the fantastic creative team at Something Something who had the inspiration and imagination to portray how it can feel to be a person with a mental illness, our media buying agency Space and Time – who made sure the message was seen and heard – and Lewis, who make sure we stay on brand. The fantastic news is that right now because of this campaign people all over Scotland are talking more openly about mental health. The campaign has connected with people in a truly compelling way, proving there is real power in asking someone ‘are you okay?’”.
We’re suitably made up about this award as the See Me cause is an extremely important one – you can find out more about the programme and their work at www.seemescotland.org
