The headline is part right and part wrong and here’s why.
It get’s a better response inadvertently being nearly the same as the one a poor BBC news employee sent out on the BBC News app late last night in the frantic attempt to beat everyone else to the reveal (although he was behind various posts on LinkedIn that was our channel to find the news last night.)
The BBC News channel to to make in fact two corrections; first having to take the initially reported $19 billion down to $16 billion and then change the wording ‘massaging service’ to ‘messaging service’. A calamity in social media? Nope, just a reminder we are all human and sometimes a few mistakes can make us laugh as well. I bet someone today at the BBC has a very red face. Fortunately we caught it before it was deleted and here it is.
