IABUK: Digital Britain Conference

Another terrific day of industry insight, state-of-the-industry stock taking and top bants courtesy of IABUK!

Alongside the traditional lathering on of Really Rather Big Numbers concerning digital consumption, there were some fantastic case studies, the odd bit of well-disguised sales patter and the usual misty-eyed reflection on how different things are for children today. Two year olds being adept at using an iPad; children growing up without ever seeing a desktop (I just needed that […]

Google Ads & Analytics Innovations

Google Ads & Analytics Innovations

On the 24th May 2016, Google announced their latest mobile-first innovations. Mobile, it seems, has been front of mind with “the year of mobile” the key phrase for years now. We have to agree that the shift to mobile is no longer happening it has happened. Now half of Google searches are on Mobile and Tablet devices and these searches matter because they represent consumer’s moments – ‘I’ Want-to-know, Want-to-go, Want-to-do and Want-to-buy, micro-moments.

Key questions included:
• Will the industry step up the outcry for more housing?
• What impact will the Starter Homes Scheme have on supply?
• How can developers effectively steward the supply chain and skills that are so […]

Space and Time Officially Excellent! (Not Our Words)

Winning an award is always lovely: it’s an external, objective reassurance that you’re doing things right; that you’re actually as good as you like to think you are. It also makes bragging that little bit easier (“not my words, Madam…”).

But even in an industry awash with awards ceremonies, the Recommended Agency Register awards are exceptional: they are awarded based purely on the feedback given by the participant agencies’ clients, and as such are a […]
